The integration is in private beta and the public marketplace listing is pending Zapier's review. Once approved, NexPay will appear at zapier.com/apps/nexpay/integrations and the Try it buttons on this page will activate. Talk to our team to join the early-access list. ### What can NexPay do as a Zapier trigger or action? NexPay exposes four polling triggers — New Payment, New Student, New Payee, and New Payer — so any of the 7,000+ Zapier apps can react when a NexPay record is created. As actions, NexPay supports creating and updating each of those entities, plus a Find Student search. Full reference: nexpay.com.au/api. ### How is this different from the NexPay REST API? Both run on the same NexPay endpoints. The REST API is the right path for engineering teams who want full control inside their own product. Zapier is for everyone else — point-and-click workflows that connect to the apps your team already uses, with no code or maintenance. Many teams use both: the API where it matters, Zapier where it does not. ### Does the Zapier integration cover reminders, commissions, or refunds? Not in the current scope. The Zapier surface covers payments, students, payees, and payers — the primary record types. Reminders, commission accounting, refunds, and other operational workflows live inside the NexPay dashboard and our automation partner Qualy. We will extend the Zapier surface as customers ask for it; tell us which workflow you need next. ### Does the integration cost anything extra? Nothing additional from NexPay — the integration is included with any NexPay account. Zapier itself runs on its own pricing plans that are separate from your NexPay fees: their free tier covers light usage and paid plans unlock more tasks, multi-step Zaps, and faster polling. See zapier.com/pricing for current details. ### Is my payment data safe when it flows through Zapier? The integration runs on the same authenticated NexPay API used by the dashboard, over TLS. Full card numbers are never stored by NexPay and therefore never reach Zapier; bank account fields are only exposed in Zaps where you explicitly map a payee record, and only to your own authenticated Zapier account. The regulated record of every transaction stays with NexPay regardless of how a Zap initiated it. NexPay holds Australian Financial Services Licence 560782 and is registered with AUSTRAC as a remittance service provider. ### How do the WhatsApp Zaps on this page work? WhatsApp does not publish a direct Zapier app for outbound messages — they require a WhatsApp Business API account, which is typically provisioned through a partner such as Twilio. The WhatsApp examples on this page assume you have set up Twilio's WhatsApp channel (or an equivalent BSP) and connected that account to Zapier. NexPay does not provide WhatsApp infrastructure. ### Does this work for education agents, schools, and universities equally? Yes. The triggers and actions are identical across all NexPay account types. The example Zaps on this page lean toward the workflows we hear about most — enrolment in AllyHub, deals in HubSpot or Pipedrive, invoices in Xero or ContaAzul — but any combination of the 7,000+ Zapier apps is possible. ### Can I get notified when the Zapier app goes live?
