How automation works across the NexPay + Qualy ecosystem — what gets handled for you, what stays in your control, and what to expect when you switch.

#### How do NexPay and Qualy work together?

Qualy is NexPay's automation partner — a separate product built to run your day-to-day operations: payment plans, reminders, the student portal, reconciliation, commission rules, splits, invoices, remittance advice, partner portal, and overdue management. NexPay is the payment rail underneath it: when a student pays, NexPay carries the funds in across 38 corridors with local methods; when it's time to pay schools or sub-agents, NexPay carries the funds out. Same login, same dashboard, same support team.

#### What does the AI automation actually do?

Three concrete things. (1) Reads Letters of Offer and Acceptance to extract every fee and due date, then builds the student's payment plan automatically — no re-keying. (2) Matches incoming deposits to invoices automatically, even cross-currency or split payments, so you don't reconcile by hand. (3) Splits commissions per agent and institution the moment the plan is confirmed, then triggers payouts on the rules you set. The point is to remove the manual loops where humans add no value, not to replace your judgment on the cases that actually need it.

#### Will this replace my CRM or student management system?

No. Qualy is the source of truth for payments, but your existing CRM stays where it is. We connect to Xero, QuickBooks, HubSpot, Mailchimp, RD Station, Monday, and AllyHub — events flow into them, not out. If you have a custom student management system, the REST API connects in either direction.

#### What can I automate for student payments?

Reminder cadences (email and SMS), payment plan creation from LOO/LOA, instalment schedules, escalation when a student goes overdue, receipt sending, payment matching across currencies and methods, and the self-service student portal. Anything that's rule-based and currently happens in a spreadsheet usually moves first.

#### How are commissions handled automatically?

Set the rule once — flat fee, percentage, milestone bonus, sub-agent split, performance reward — and the commission accrues the moment the student pays. Tax invoices and RCTIs generate per commission, remittance advice goes out with the payment, and overdue commissions surface in the partner portal. NexPay rails carry the actual payouts, instantly across the globe in virtually any currency.

#### How long does it take to set up?

Most agencies and schools are live in 48 hours. You don't rebuild your back office — run the new flow alongside your existing one during the pilot, switch on specific corridors or schools first, and expand at the pace that suits you. Onboarding and training are included.

#### How is this different from Flywire, Convera, or generic payment platforms?

Flywire and Convera are large institution-shaped platforms with agent and automation features added on. The NexPay + Qualy ecosystem was built around the actual workflow education agents and schools run every week — the AI on Letters of Offer, the commission engine, the branded student portal, the named account manager — not as add-ons but as the product. We're also strongest in Latin American corridors that generic global platforms struggle with.

#### What about compliance and data security?

NexPay holds an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) covering non-cash payment products for retail and wholesale clients, and is registered with AUSTRAC as a remittance service provider. Funds sit in segregated trust accounts, sanctions and AML screening run on every payment, and card data is handled by PCI DSS-compliant processors. Your students get clean receipts, you get the audit trail.

#### Is there a setup fee or minimum volume?

No setup fees, no monthly platform charges, no minimum volumes, no lock-in contracts. You pay only when payments flow — same fee structure whether you process a handful of students a year or thousands a month.
