## Frequently asked questions
### Which SIS systems can you integrate with?
We build bespoke connectors to Banner, Ellucian, Workday SIS, PeopleSoft, Tribal SITS, Anthology, and any system that speaks REST. For legacy or on-premise systems without a modern API, we build file-based integrations. Every scope is signed off in week 1, with a fixed timeline before contract.
### How is student data segregated across institutions?
Each institution operates in a logically isolated tenant. Student data is never shared, co-mingled, or accessible across institutional boundaries. Tenant isolation is enforced at the application, database, and infrastructure layers.
### What happens at contract end?
Full data export in machine-readable format (CSV, JSON, or via API). Retention follows your institution's policy and applicable law. Deletion confirmed in writing with a certificate of destruction on request.
### How do we run a paid pilot without a full procurement cycle?
We offer a scoped pilot programme — typically one faculty or one source-country corridor — under a simplified agreement. Pilot to full rollout happens under the same MSA, so procurement only reviews once.
### Who is the contracting entity?

### What insurance do you carry?
Cyber liability and professional indemnity insurance. Certificate available on request (redacted as appropriate). Coverage limits disclosed under NDA during procurement.
### How does NexPay handle refunds for student withdrawals or visa refusals?
Full, partial, or bulk refunds in the student's original currency, to the original payer, with a complete audit trail. Visa rejection, withdrawal, course change — every refund is tracked with documentation your compliance team needs.
### What is your sanctions screening posture?
Real-time and post-transactional screening against OFAC, EU, UN, and Australian consolidated sanctions lists on every payment. Screening results are logged and available for audit.
