#### What's an API?

An API (Application Programming Interface) lets your software talk directly to NexPay's payment system. Instead of manually entering payments, your platform can create, track, and reconcile payments automatically. Think of it as Zapier, but built into your own product.

#### Do I need developers on my team to integrate?

It helps, but it's not required. Our engineers can do the heavy lifting — from writing the integration code to reviewing your team's work. If you have a developer, we pair with them. If you don't, we can build it for you and hand it over with full documentation.

#### How long does a typical integration take?

Most integrations go live within 2 weeks. Simple payment links can be set up in a day. Full API integrations with webhooks, reconciliation, and multi-entity support typically take 1–3 weeks, depending on complexity. Our engineers are with you the entire time.

#### What kind of engineering support do you provide?

A dedicated NexPay engineer is assigned to your integration from day one. They join your Slack, review your PRs, pair program on complex logic, and monitor your first production payments. This isn't a chatbot — it's a real engineer who knows your codebase.

#### Do you provide a sandbox environment?
